History Ahlul Bayt International University
Ahlul Bayt International University was founded in 2004 with the aim of providing higher education programs to students from different countries. In 2011, the institution was formally upgraded to a comprehensive university.
In June 2023, a new university complex was inaugurated in Tehran. In 2024, an additional faculty operating as the Faculty of Islamic Studies was launched in the city of Qom.
